Master of Science Application Requirements
Master of Science program is open to
  • Students having achieved 180 ECTS or Bachelor Graduates from Engineering Programs in Electronics, Informatics, Telecommunications as well as Computer Sciences.
  • Students having achieved 180 ECTS or Bachelor Graduates of Science Programs in Physics, Mathematics and other faculties with Technical and Scientific components.
  • Applicants, having a bachelor degree or completed at least the third-year in a technological or scientific university study, must have acquired no less than 180 credits (ECTS) or equivalents.
    The Admission Committee evaluates the credits obtained. The past educational career of each student, as described by his/her curriculum, will be individually examined. Competences acquired will be evaluated and suitably recognized.
Applicants, including Universities of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule, HES) graduated students are invited to send as soon as possible the requested documents in order to allow the best evaluation of their previous academic career.
  • In case of debts candidates will be invited to follow ad hoc introductory courses at the beginning or during the academic year.

  • 4 year bachelor graduates or more than 180 ECTS acquired
      4 years Bachelor graduates or persons having acquired more than 180 credits may be allowed to achieve the Master of Science degree in a shorter time.
      The Admission Committee evaluates the courses previously attended (and/or credits obtained) in order to define the competences already acquired and which courses of the ALaRI master program may not be attended.
      After this decision the ALaRI staff will help the candidates in defining an individual study track within the ALaRI teaching program.

    Deadlines
      All applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a detailed curriculum, together with the requested documentation (as specified on application procedure) and with any relevant information that might be considered useful.
                 Application Procedure is open from January until June each year, and namely
    • 15 June 2010 - application deadline with scholarship request for MAS (Master of Advanced Studies) (full-time or part-time)program or MSc (Master of Science) program
    • 1 July 2010 - application deadline without scholarship request for MAS (Master of Advanced Studies)(full-time or part-time)program or MSc (Master of Science) program.
    Late applications without scholarship are considered if study places are still available

      Master of Science will officially start on 20 September 2010
