Master of Advanced Studies in Embedded Systems Design

The Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) is a professional program that aims at providing a comprehensive grounding in the Embedded Systems Design themes in order to prepare (or to re-skill) the future team leaders and researchers through studies in a very international environment. The program, embracing tutoring through high quality courses and MAS thesis producing, is especially suitable as a preparation phase for early stage researchers aiming at obtaining appropriate skills for further expansion of scientific carrier (i.e., PhD degree).

The program (more flexible and shorter, but also more intensive, than MSc) covers 70 ECTS and addresses more experienced candidates: professionals, master graduates or equivalents, coming from a technological or scientific degree, such as mathematics, physics, computer science, electronics or engineering. More details can be found at /Admission/ApplicationProcedure.

Two scheduling solutions are foreseen for MAS students. The basic mode is a one-year (actually, 10 months) intensive course extending from mid September to the end of July. To provide employed persons with the possibility of achieving the MAS degree, a part-time solution is offered as well, by which studies will extend over two years; organization of the program in this case will be individually tailored, according to personal needs. Grant opportunities at /Admission/Scholarships.
