to the 2004 edition of the next Autumn School, from September 13th - 17th. It will be held
at University of Lugano, within a framework of the

aims at providing the attendees with the skills necessary to become high-tech entrepreneurs.
The course covers all the main topics involved in the start-up of a high-tech business such
as: business models, management, marketing, financing, technological issues, legislative
framework (with specific reference, even though not exclusively, to the case of Canton Ticino).
The event creates an entrepreneurial ambience in which the students are expected to prepare a
business plan for a start-up company as a course project. The School program involves students in formal lecture sessions as well as in creating their own projects for start-ups, defining the business plans and the funding strategies and defending their proposal in front of evaluation board.
