Introduction
Thanks to the success of the last 2003 October edition - an ALaRI student also won the Gebert Rüf competition for Entrepreneurship www.new-entrepreneurs.ch - AlaRI Institute is glad to invite you to the 2004 edition of the next Autumn School, from September 13th - 17th. It will be held at University of Lugano, within a framework of the IST ANTITESYS Project (IST 2001-34370).The Autumn School aims at providing the attendees with the skills necessary to become high-tech entrepreneurs. The course covers all the main topics involved in the start-up of a high-tech business such as: business models, management, marketing, financing, technological issues, legislative framework (with specific reference, even though not exclusively, to the case of Canton Ticino). The event creates an entrepreneurial ambience in which the students are expected to prepare a business plan for a start-up company as a course project.
The School program involves students in formal lecture sessions as well as in creating their own projects for start-ups, defining the business plans and the funding strategies and defending their proposal in front of evaluation board. Interaction with top-level experts will be granted in this challenging phase.
